   WHO AM I

I am a proud Southern girl with a flare for adventure and travel!

I started this blog in order to keep my family and friends up-to-date with my international volunteering experience =D

I decided to try my hand at blogging for the first time. I’m a social media geek so I figured it wouldn’t be that hard.

I decided my first international experience would be to volunteer in Costa Rica! One of the safest places to volunteer, and one of the most hospitable places known for the local smiling faces when volunteers arrive, I knew I would enjoy volunteering there.

This picture is of the Oak Alley Plantation built in 1837 in Louisiana. It is protected as a National Historic Landmark. It has made appearances in movies and replicas on cakes!

It could be haunted...
